Stories from
the Water
What guests remember most isn't always the islands — it's often the quieter moments on the way. Here's what some of them had to say.

"The Four Islands sail was the best day of our trip to Krabi. The crew was calm and knowledgeable — they pointed out fish species during the snorkel stop and then prepared the most unexpectedly good pad thai I've eaten. The boat was genuinely clean and well-kept. Nothing felt rushed."
"We did the sunset cruise on our last evening in Railay and it was the right call. Small boat, just the two of us and the crew. We watched the cliffs turn orange and then dark while drinking cold Chang on the deck. Couldn't have asked for more than that."
"The Lanta voyage exceeded what we expected. I was slightly nervous about sleeping on the boat but the cabins were comfortable and the crew made everything easy. Koh Jum on the second morning was completely quiet — no tourists, just us and the coconut palms. The only minor thing was a bit of swell on day one, but that's just the sea."
"Booked the Four Islands for a group of six. Nong sorted everything out before we arrived — confirmed dietary requirements, sent a clear meeting point, told us exactly what to bring. On the day, the captain anchored us off a reef that wasn't on any of the tour-boat routes. Worth every baht."
"Took my parents on the sunset cruise — they're in their sixties and don't sail. Prayuth made them feel completely at ease. The pace was gentle, the food was great, and my mum said it was the most beautiful evening she'd had in years. That means a lot."
"Really enjoyed the Four Islands day. The crew were friendly and clearly experienced. The snorkel at Koh Poda was excellent — visibility was good and there were plenty of fish. Lunch was simple but tasty. Deducting one star only because we ran slightly late returning, but the captain explained why and it wasn't a problem."
Charters We Remember
The Situation
A couple travelling from Singapore wanted a private evening on the water to mark fifteen years together. They had two hours before a dinner reservation and weren't sure what was possible.
What We Did
Arranged a two-hour version of the Sunset Cruise departing at 17:00, with Thai canapes and a bottle of wine brought aboard. The route was adjusted to arrive at the open bay west of Railay just as the sun reached the horizon.
The Result
"We made it to dinner on time and we'll be talking about that sunset for years." They returned the following year for the Four Islands day sail with family.
The Situation
A family of five — two adults and three children aged seven to fourteen — wanted a multi-day trip but were unsure if the children would manage life on a boat.
What We Did
Planned a two-day Lanta voyage with shorter sailing legs and beach landings designed to keep children engaged. Krit led snorkeling sessions at shallow reef patches. Meals included dishes the children would eat.
The Result
The youngest child spent three hours catching small crabs off the stern with string and a bit of prawn. The parents described it as the most relaxed family holiday in years.
